GLC Favourite Murano has recently opened a sister restaurant called Café Murano located at St James Street near Green Park tube station.
Cafe Murano will feature a daily changing menu rich in Northern Italian cuisine from former Murano sous chef Sam Williams featuring dishes such as Culatella pasta fritti , Fettuccine with wild boar, Roasted monkfish tail, brown shrimps and golden raisins, and Sausage stew with tomato and sage. The dessert menu will feature Vin Santo and Cantucci biscuits, Roasted fig zabaglione, and traditional highlights such as Panna Cotta and Tiramisu.
The interior is designed by Russell Sage Studios and from the press release; the place will be a little bigger and “brassier”, with a gorgeous marble dining counter for those last minute drop ins, cossetting leather clad booths for longer, lazier visits and a raised private dining area when the occasion demands.
With an extensive wine list and cocktail menu also on offer, this is one opening we’re really looking forward to!
