Silit salt and pepper grinders

Apparently one of the differences between OCD and OPD is the degree of uncooperative and proactive compulsion. For one, I know it’s unusual to wipe my desk each morning with an antiseptic wipe, however it’s something I take pride in and I simply can’t function with anything on my desk bar a mouse and keyboard. So you can imagine my frustration at the general state of salt and pepper grinders. I’ve tried Peugeot, Cole and Mason to name a few and they’ve all leaked grains of salt and pepper in cupboards and on surfaces alike. This was until I discovered Silit. In short, there are two key features to these grinders, firstly the adjustable plastic ‘Crush Grind’ mechanism appears to be a lot more robust than most and secondly, the grinders come with a lid – simple. Effectively you can grind into the lid (or without), remove the lid and sprinkle away. The grinders also work well while grinding over a hot pot being something metal grinders can fall short on. So now my cupboards and surfaces are grain free and I can rest easy.
